Hands on a fake intel core i7-4770k

Hello guys.

Today I have got a fake intel core i7-4770k. I have got it from taobao and I hope I can change it.

The box is completelly the same as intel's, it probably was taken from a used core i7, but the cpu is a fake. Here are some pictures of the fake cpu.

And this is how real core i7-4770k looks like

If you buy a cpu from an online store, be sure that it is real before you open the box. Cheers.

I think what you got here is some random LGA775 CPU rebadged as i7-4770k. If you still have it and if you are okay with taking risks you can try get this onto a LGA775 board with as broad CPU support as possible (e.g. Asus P5BV-C that you can get for under CNY 200 on Taobao) and try power it up and find out what it really is.

I believe that's a Pentium IV, I have one next to me and they both have the same capacitor layout on the underside.

It's sad to say, but..
